So in a new screenshot from Jeb villager trading will be added soon and if you look in the background you will see a red ore block that isn't redstone. My guess is that it is a new ore block that gives you an item that is used as currency to trade with villagers. Also in another screenshot gravel has a new texture and there's a village in a jungle.
